Monique Maldonado is a special education service provider that has been bringing new learning experiences to the STEPs organization for the past 7 years with her own personal touch. Impacting a child’s educational needs while becoming an important part of their lives is what she looks forward to as provider through STEPs. When asked what she loves about being a special education service provider she said “I love how each day brings new challenges and great memories, as I strive to accomplish the personal and educational goals of each individual child. I continue to learn not only from our dedicated and experienced team, but also from each and every student I encounter”.

Monique has a genuine passion for children and a true desire to help them with their educational needs as a part of her everyday goal.  She believes that the ability to bring a positive mindset into the classroom makes for a great day of learning!  Just like George Evans said “Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way” The passion that Monique brings to the table not only in the classroom but to her everyday life and to the people she surrounds herself with, is so very unique that putting a value on what she can do or how she can make you feel is priceless.

Monique is a native to valley of the sun and is a proud Phoenician! Married to a local Firefighter with two amazing daughters, Monique continues to feel the support and unconditional love each and every day which prepares and encourages her for the daily adventures that await.
